Research

Examples of expertise:

  • Investigation of nociceptive pathways and analgesic treatments
  • Monitoring Depth of Anaesthesia, in particular via electroencephalography
  • Development of techniques for locoregional anaesthesia
  • Validation of respiratory monitoring methodology and techniques of pulmonary ventilation
  • Pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling of anaesthetic and analgesic drugs

Our research group aims to develop objective, valid, and reliable tools to evaluate species-specific nociceptive physio-pathological processes, pain behavior, and anesthesia monitoring. We intend to refine procedures and techniques for anesthetic and analgesic strategies in domestic and laboratory animals.
